Dr. Firuzi Mehta (nee Dabu) studied Homoeopathy (Homeopathy) at the C.M.P. Homoeopathic Medical College at Vile Parle in Mumbai and obtained her B.H.M.S. bachelor’s degree from Bombay University in 1996. Her one year of Internship comprised of 6 months at Bhatia General Hospital at Grant Road, Mumbai and 6 months at the Mumbadevi Homoeopathic Hospital at Vile Parle.
She completed a 2-year correspondence post-graduate diploma of H.M.D. offered by the British Institute of Homoeopathy in 1998. She spent 5 weeks in Switzerland in 1998, attending an Intensive International Seminar for Medical Doctors on Anthroposophical Medicine, whose ‘Iscador’ therapy, for cancer, is used successfully by many Homoeopaths.
She worked with Dr. Farokh J. Master from 1996 until 2001, not only working with patients but also on numerous books and articles. She started private practice at the Parsi Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Dadar, in 1999 and set up her own clinic in 2001 when her family shifted to Navi Mumbai. She was Homoeopathic consultant at Panacea Hospital, Navi Mumbai for 5 years.
Now living in South Mumbai, she has clinics at Tardeo, Mumbai and at New Panvel, Navi Mumbai (New Bombay) and visits a Homoeopathic Pharmacy in Dadar as consultant Homoeopath.
She has been writing regular articles on health and homoeopathy for a weekly newspaper in Navi Mumbai, ‘The Twin City Times’, since 2004. Starting October 2007, she writes fortnightly articles for the weekly ‘Jam-e-Jamshed’. She is part of the Hpathy Team since November 2008, Hpathy.com being the world’s largest homoeopathic portal.
She has co-authored a book, ‘Holistic Healing in Tropical Diseases’ along with Dr. Leo Rebello, Dr. M.N.Sahukar and curative eurythmist Dilnavaz Bana.
